Training Whilst Injured
I fell 6ft off some bleachers last week. Luckily my martial arts kicked in and I did a break fall to avoid hurting myself in the impact, but my right foot got caught on the edge of the surface I was standing on. This caused my knee to hyper-extend and subsequently tore my MCL.
This is where my training philosopy with HENCH Fit comes into play; my knee is injured, so in spite of this what can I do to maintain my fitness? Diet is the most crucial element in this; I have to do everything I can to ensure my tendons get what they need to repair themselves.
